A single-phase asynchronous motor refers to a low-power single-phase asynchronous motor powered by a single-phase AC power source. Its power is designed to be relatively small, generally not exceeding 2kW. Single phase asynchronous motors account for the majority of low-power asynchronous motors, and so far they have undergone four modifications, namely four unified designs. The requirements for motors vary greatly in different situations, so it is necessary to use various types of motor products to meet the usage requirements.
Usually, single-phase asynchronous motors are divided into the following five types based on the characteristics of their starting and operating modes.
1. Asynchronous motor with single-phase capacitor operation. Code JX DO DO2 New code: YY
2. Single phase capacitor starting asynchronous motor. Code JY CO CO2 New code YC
3. Single phase resistance starting asynchronous motor. Code JZ BO BO2
4. Single phase shielded pole asynchronous motor.
5. Starting and running asynchronous motors with single-phase capacitors. Code YL
